BoredMutant is building Aham.
BoredMutant is a technology company registered in India. We are building Aham — a chat-first agent transaction network that meets people in the messaging apps they already use — starting with WhatsApp, with Telegram and others to follow — and helps them discover local services, compare structured offers from businesses, and book appointments with explicit approval. Starting in Hyderabad.
Why this exists
Booking a local service shouldn't be a research project.
Finding a trustworthy electrician, comparing quotes for a repair, or booking a clinic slot in India today means switching between search results, WhatsApp chats, phone calls and guesswork. Meanwhile, the actual negotiation already happens on WhatsApp — it's where India does business.
Aham meets people where they are: describe what you need in a chat, and let software do the legwork — finding eligible businesses, collecting structured offers, and recording a provider-confirmed booking. The people decide; the agents do the work.
How we work
One team, built in the open about its stage.
Solo founder, Hyderabad
BoredMutant is founded and run by a solo engineer in Hyderabad, working full-time on Aham alongside deep experience building AI systems and automation. Small team, short feedback loops, no theatre.
In development, honestly
Aham is not live yet. The transaction foundations — request routing, offer structuring, authorization rules — are being built and tested locally before any real booking touches the network. This site says what's real today.
Permission before action
Nothing books, charges or commits without explicit approval. Models interpret and communicate; deterministic software enforces the rules and records what happened.
Real offers only
Availability, pricing and terms come from the provider — never invented. Ambiguous or unsupported cases go to a person, not through a workaround.
