Aham is a chat-first network in development that helps people find and book local services through centrally managed AI agents representing consumers and businesses — starting with WhatsApp, with Telegram and other messaging apps to follow.

The network

People describe what they need in a chat message. Aham coordinates the request, business responses, approvals and booking state behind the conversation.

Share the service, area, timing and budget in a chat conversation. The agent asks for essential missing details.
Find eligible providers
The network routes structured requests to participating businesses with a matching service and location.
Return a real offer
A business agent checks its configured rules and availability, then responds with scope, price, timing and terms.
Approve, then confirm
Deterministic policy checks decide what is allowed. The provider's confirmed result is recorded before the consumer is told it's booked.
AI can clarify a request, summarize offers and draft a response. It cannot authorize spending, invent availability or confirm a booking.
Transaction state, user mandates, business policies and provider confirmations govern side effects.

A participating business configures its services, availability, pricing rules, booking terms and escalation path. Its agent can answer within those rules and hand uncertain cases to a person.

The first transaction patterns are fixed-price appointments, quote-required services and consultations. Each category needs its own readiness checks before it is offered.

Connecting a business messaging account or calendar can require a secure provider handoff or browser-based authorization; setup is not guaranteed to happen entirely in chat.
Where the project stands
Building the transaction foundation first.
Aham is in early development. The repository contains the initial API, worker, shared schemas and transaction rules, PostgreSQL migrations, and a deterministic local demo.
Current foundation and product boundary
Not production-ready: the local demo uses SQLite and mock offers/bookings. PostgreSQL is the planned production source of truth. WhatsApp integration code exists, but live customer bookings, business onboarding and production integrations are still future work.

Three reusable transaction patterns
Fixed-price appointments, quote-required services, and consultations give the network a controlled starting point. General services, auto repair and home repair may be piloted only after category checks.
No blanket automation or open-ended commitments
Healthcare is limited to administrative appointment handling after privacy and safety review. No diagnosis, medical advice, arbitrary business outreach, customer fund custody or unapproved payment handling.
